The company is family owned. It was started up in 1978 by John James and has remained in various forms until the present day, it has been run by Mark James
(Managing Director) the son of John James since 2008. We have now given our winch the trade name of Speed Winch.
We are a small, closely run business so we can keep a keen eye on the quality control and care put into the product. We design and manufacture these winches in our factory in the UK and we are based in south Shropshire close to the Welsh border.
We have had over 35 years’ experience producing the Winch Products which has had various updates over the years and on into the future. We can custom build winches for customers if quantities and if it is viable to do so.
